Next Membership Meeting: March 15, 2019
The NJCSA convenes quarterly meetings of all member schools at which we provide updates on policies and activities that affect the lives of charter schools and the families they serve. At any given time, there are important initiatives going on among legislators and administration officials, some of are designed to support charters, and others of which are designed to undermine them.
The Association, as the advocacy voice of charters throughout the state, takes an active role in education policy formation in legislative hearings, at meetings with individual legislators, in conversations with NJ DOE officials, and in an ongoing dialogue with policymakers in the Governor’s office. Our membership meetings are the perfect opportunity to share what we have learned and to keep members informed about our activities.
In addition, membership meetings are an excellent opportunity for school leaders to touch base about the work they are doing and to share questions and information that is valuable to their peers.
We routinely email meeting information to our members. Click here for the details of our next gathering.
